Toby Miller is Chair of the Department of Media & Cultural Studies at the University of California, Riverside. He is the editor of the journal Television & New Media and the author and editor of over 30 books. The latest is Makeover Nation: The United States of Reinvention (2008) and the next will be Television Studies: The Basics (2009).
